Agreement
By accessing CodePulse—including the live HTML, CSS, and JavaScript tester and related pages—you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Operators who deploy this project on their own domains should update legal entity names, contact emails, and governing-law clauses to match their organization before presenting the site as a commercial service.
The service
CodePulse offers browser-based tools for writing and previewing front-end code, plus educational and policy pages that describe how the product works. Features may change as we improve performance, accessibility, and design. We may add, remove, or adjust controls such as device presets, export options, or syntax highlighting without prior notice. The playground is provided as a convenience for learning and prototyping; it is not a substitute for professional development environments, automated testing suites, or security review processes.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use CodePulse to create or distribute malware, phishing pages, fraudulent schemes, or content that unlawfully infringes others’ rights. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, abuse advertising systems, scrape the service in a way that degrades performance, or probe the sandbox for vulnerabilities beyond ordinary learning. Do not upload or paste unlawful content into editors or contact forms. You are responsible for complying with local laws that apply to your use of coding tools and published exports.
Your content and our materials
You retain ownership of the code and text you create in the editors and the messages you send through contact channels. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any third-party snippets you paste. CodePulse branding, layout, original copy, icons, and visual design are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not present the site’s original assets as your own product identity without permission, except for fair personal or educational references that do not confuse users about who operates the service.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site and playground are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Preview results may differ across browsers and devices. Syntax highlighting is an aid, not a guarantee of correctness. Exported files may require additional work before production use. We do not warrant uninterrupted access or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodePulse and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the site or reliance on preview output. If liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of fees you paid us for the service in the prior three months (if any) or fifty US dollars. Some regions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, limits apply only as allowed.
Advertising and third parties
Pages may include advertisement placeholders or third-party ad code on live deployments. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices. Links to external resources are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. Your interactions with advertisers or linked sites are between you and those parties.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Questions about these Terms can be sent through the Contact page or emailed to hello@codepulse.app. Thank you for using CodePulse responsibly and for helping keep the playground useful for learners and makers.
